The Northeast Running Club is accepting nominations for our 2023 club scholarship awards. During the past twenty-seven years, NERC has awarded over $100,000 to 165 student-athletes. Our club is committed to supporting young runners and has allocated funds for scholarships for area athletes. If you know any high school seniors from Northeast Ohio who have participated in cross-country and/or track teams and might be interested, please pass along the application to them.
Seniors nominated should meet the following criteria:
· Achievement of “B” average or higher
· Demonstration of leadership qualities
· Involvement in school activities and/or community service
· Participation in cross-country or a running event in track
· College Acceptance
Qualifying seniors will fill out an application found on a Google Form link:

Applications are due by Friday May 26, 2023
Awards will be presented at our July 17,2023 Summer Picnic. We will again host our Flag Day Race on June 14 and NERC XC series in August. Please keep in mind that money generated from these events support the scholarship fund.
